Luxury & Squalor

Luxury and Squalor explores the wide gap between the wealthy and poor citizens of NYC. While they are on opposite ends of the capitalist economy, the subjects are physically in close proximity. The diptych images were taken within 20 minutes of each other, further progressing the narrative of the stark duality in the ways of life lived within New York City.
